:: NEW FACE COVERING POLICY ::
Effective 04.01.21, we will require all customer and employees to wear a face covering (that covers the nose and mouth) at all In-Excess Stores and Garden Centres. Entry to In-Excess will only be granted to those wearing a face mask or a face shield. Children under the age of 11 are exempt.
In-Excess has had a face covering policy in effect since 04.05.20, but customers who could not wear a face mask due to a medical condition were exempt. This is no longer the case. If a customer has a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, they must instead wear a face shield.
- Face Masks and Shields are available for Free, Please ask an assistant.
The use of a face covering should not be seen as a substitute for social distancing. Please continue to observe rules regarding appropriate distancing while on In-Excess premises.
We are more then willing to serve all customers in any way we can, that meets this policy, including:
- Essential goods brought to your car door, as a Call & Collect Service
- Deliver your goods to a local address (where Possible)
- Organise an online order for you.
Whilst this updated policy may seem inconvenient for some, we believe that the added safety is worth any inconvenience. Our goal is to continue to provide a safe shopping environment for our members and guests, and to provide a safe work environment for our employees.
In order to ensure safety, we will be following social distancing guidelines in-line with government advice, including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks and face shields. Any commonly touched surfaces will be kept disinfected. To further ensure the safety our staff and customers, we may choose to limit the number of people through our doors at any one time.
We have a large range of items available here on our online store, or stocked at our various branches. As of 2020 we have endeavoured to maintain stock of PPE at low prices for our customers. We are working hard behind the scenes to support you with the products you need at home, however due to international shortages we may have depleted stock of ranges we usually have.

- We continue to operate a Home Delivery service. This may be subject to delays and take 3-5 days to process.
- Call your local store.
- Pay for the items over the phone.
- You will be given information about the delivery schedule.
