On unvarnished floors ensure wood is clean, dry and free from dirt or dust by wiping with a soft cloth and white spirit. Any existing coatings must be removed prior to application with a suitable sander using 120 grade abrasive paper. A suitable dust mask should be worn while sanding. Allow any dust to settle then vacuum the floor to remove any dust or debris. Fill in any holes or surface imperfections using Everbuild Multi-Purpose Wood Filler.
Existing varnished floors should be thoroughly sanded using 120 grade abrasive paper to provide a key for Everbuild Ultra Hard Varnish to be applied.
