    Technical Data & Application

    Surface Preparation
The key to any quality finish is all in the preparation so take your time when preparing the surface you are working with. All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from grease and loose flaking materials. Remove any loose or flaking paint material. New concrete or cement should be allowed to mature for several months before painting.

    Application
Johnstone's paints are made to the highest standard and are ready to use straight from the tin. For the best results apply using a brush or a roller which is fully loaded. Apply evenly and avoid overspreading. Apply a minimum of two coats under normal conditions, and apply liberally to achieve the best results.

    Drying time

Depending on the nature & porosity of the surface, allow 14 to 16 hours drying between coats under normal conditions.

    • Touch dry: Within 12 Hours
    • Completely dry: Within 24 Hours

      Cleaning
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean all equipment immediately after using white spirit or turpentine substitute.

      Coverage Guide
750ml of Johnstone's Specialty Floors will cover approximately 8m² depending on the nature & porosity of the surface.

      Storage
Replace lid onto the tin firmly and store in cool dry conditions between + 5°C and +25°C. Storage outside these conditions will dramatically reduce shelf life and may affect the product itself.
