Technical Data & Application

Surface Preparation
When varnishing exterior wood, preparation is important, so before you start, make sure that all the timber that will be varnished is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, polish or any other contaminant.

Application
Always patch before application to ensure compatibility and follow instructions found on the packaging.

  • Stir well before use
  • Evenly apply at least two coats, using a brush along the grain of the wood
  • Sand down lightly between each coat

Drying time

Depending on the nature & porosity of the surface, allow 4 hours drying between coats under normal conditions.

  • 16-24 hour drying time.

    Cleaning
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean all equipment immediately after use in warm soapy water and rinse them thoroughly.

    Storage
Replace lid onto the tin firmly and store in cool dry conditions between + 5°C and +25°C. Storage outside these conditions will dramatically reduce shelf life and may affect the product itself.
